Thank You!

by Gabe Bokor

n the last issue of the Translation Journal I made an appeal for donations to test the viability of this publication by the most relevant possible criterion—the willingness of its readers to support it financially.

Between June this year when this appeal appeared in the Journal and September 27, US$461.00 have been donated by the Journal's readers. While the jury is still out on the basic question of long-term survivability of this publication on the basis of voluntary donations, I wish to thank those who have answered the appeal. Special thanks go to those generous donors who have given $20 or more (listed alphabetically): Verónica Albin, "Las Brujas" (in memory of Alicia Gordon), Thomas Butchart, Michele Hansen, Julio Juncal, Monica M. Lira, Charles Martin, German Pareja, Ann Sherwin, and May Wanhamid.

I would also like to thank those to whom I was unable to send a personal note either because they donated anonymously or because their payment notification didn't reach me for some technical reason. On my own behalf and on behalf of those who have enjoyed reading the Translation Journal during the past seven years, Thank You Very Much!
