The site is exceedingly interesting and exceedingly slow (:-(.
Some pages would not load completely without a stop and a reload. Why so?
How about providing a zipped archive of the latest issue for
downloading and offline browsing? In many parts of the world (e.g.
Poland) the per minute or per impulse fee makes the cost of online
reading rather prohibitive.
Would appreciate your position on this proposal.

Editors response: Measurements of load times of different randomly selected Web pages have shown that the Translation Journal loads faster than 88% of our sample. We have achieved this by keeping the amount of graphics to a minimum and avoiding bulky multimedia files, which add little or nothing to the content.
Regarding the suggestion of downloadable files, unfortunately, we have a limited amount of hard disk space available, which makes providing extra files for download unfeasible at this time.
What an excellent piece! My sincere thanks to all those involved in the publication of Danilos article Going Broke in Brazil. Ill also send my congratulations to Danilo.
