Letters to the Editor

Hi from a newcomer to your site. I just spent about an hour-and-a-half reading articles, especially Fire Ant and Worker Bee's column.

I am an American living in Bosnia, and among other things, I translate texts from (self-taught) Serbo-Croat/Bosnian into English. I'm so happy to see there is a place to kvetch and kvell with other professional and amateur translators who take their work seriously.

Paula Gordon, Sarajevo, Bosnia

I love TJ's new look. The content has always been valuable and enriching. And now the new layout makes it easier to read and to find articles of interest. Congratulations.

Giovanna L. Lester, Miami, FL, USA

1) Congratulations on the "Translation Journal". I think it is one of the best publications of its type available anywhere. I also consider the fact that it is on line and downloadable a major plus.

2) May I quote you at a workshop (probably fewer than 20 people) I'll be running in Lisbon next week?

Steve Dyson, Miramont-de-Quercy, France
