About Google's Page Ranking (PR) Index: Google ranks all web pages on a scale from 0 to 10 according to the number of links that lead to that page and the importance of the referring pages. A low PR number does not reflect the quality of the page, but may tell the owner that it needs more marketing effort to make the page more "popular." You can check the PR of your, or any other, web page at http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php, for example. For an explanation of Google's PageRank technology, see http://www.google.com/technology/.

Bruce Morita's Site
http://www.arbortranslation.com//
Bruce has an unusual language combination: He translates IP-related documents from Japanese, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish into English. The site is aesthetically pleasing, although the information it imparts is rather basic. The home page has a link to Bruce’s blog, which, however, has only one article (identical to the About Us page of the main site), and the comments on it are “closed.”

Lina Stankute-Alexander's Web Site
http://www.lithuanian-translator.com
A simple, well-designed page, leading to the pages About the Owner, Services, and Testimonials. Another site of Lina’s is her “blog” (http://lithuaniantranslation.blogspot.com/), which, however, is rather a regular website. The About Me page is identical to the sidebar, which thus appears twice when the About Me page is loaded in the main window.

Naoko K. Selland's Site
http://www.sellandtrans.com
An unusual site in that of its four pages (Our Japanese Translation Service, Clients, Resume, Contact Us) the Resume page requires some unspecified upload for being viewed. On the other hand, a client list by industry (which most translators consider confidential) is freely viewable. The Contact Us page provides e-mail address and phone number.
